Just how much California lovin' does one get when they're buried in the ground?

Tupac Shakur's mother has purchased the rights to make a film of the rapper's life from the Insomnia company.

The film, Live 2 Tell, will focus on a young black man who deals in drugs before deciding to turn his back on crime. No doubt said 'character' will pursue a career in rap music, get a little angry with some tubby opposite-coast counterpart and finally die in slow motion. Yeah, slow motion. With a gospel choir singing its lungs up.

The film was actually written by Tupac in 1995, a year before he was shot dead. What are the odds on there being a 'new' soundtrack by the man himself to coincide?

Production on the movie begins in March.

Apparently Elton John will be playing Tupac's mum. Eminem will be playing the toilet paper that Tupac uses on the day he dies. Astronomer Patrick Moore will be playing Biggie Smalls.

Does anyone else find it slightly suspicious that there is SO much 'newly discovered' material constantly coming out from him? I mean, I know the guy was quite prolific, but he died almost 10 years ago, and they're still finding new stuff. Its like a bottomless pit. Hmm? Hmm?

Yeah, I think tupac, kurt cobain, john lennon and michael hutchence are all working for elvis in a magic factory somewhere. Making Nike trainers or something.

they've begun to use couplets and four line bursts from his raps of years back - a verse here and there... and they've basically raped his legacy good and proper. he has indeed made more records since he was dead. and up to and including 'strictly 4 my niggaz' he was excellent, and an important figure... so now it's a shame that folks are getting rich as fuck by imaginary duets with elton john that would have made him sick as a dog.

it's almost like there's a TupacRap Machine - just put in the number of lines needed for a verse, and the computer will pull out the necessary rhymes from his back catalogue. it sucks, and fucking hard.

They really are plugging his reputation for every cent it's worth. At least we know for certain that dead bodies don't really spin in their graves. If they did, the spinning of Tupac's would have knocked the earth off it's axis by now.

go to rotten.com and go down to famous then go to tupac and it show a picture of him cut open but that could easly be photo shop so is it reallly tupac or not thats the question
