Jet sucks, but there are a lot of crap bands out there that sound like some other crap band from the 70s and 80s, so I don't see why people bother insulting one band and not another. I mean, from your logic, Franz and Bloc Party suck too (although I think there's a shred of truth in that as well).

O yeah I forgot, you can also listen to the bands that sing about how shitty their life is too, don't forget to do that when your listening to your shit for brains, bitch ass bands.

I'd say about twice as good.
Get Born was appealing instrumentally, but Shine On had a hell of a lot more thought in it.

Yes, they derive a lot of their stuff from other bands, but in truth, pretty much every band has had influence from some other band.
They put their music together well, and end up sounding better then most bands around right now.
