      Left Ticket at home.

      See you later.

Also as dont have time to post 2 posts (actually i do as next bus is 20 minutes away but i'm just lazy)

      1) I agree with Jared's idea, obviously ending world hunger+ world peace is a good idea but it wouldn't be any good to change the world so suddenly, so to have everyone try and do one good deed a day is good and actually achievable

      2) for me to be less lazy and focus on my potential to do things.

      3) i'll consider at gig.

Can you wish for another ticket and an incredible fast way for me to get there too??
        • Re: Modest Mouse

You should come to my lovely home town of Reading tomorrow night and sample the delights of the internationally renowned Fez Club. Tickets are in plentiful supply as Modest Mouse aren't emo and therefore have no right to play a gig in Reading. The joys of living in a town full of fucking retards.

Having said that, I'm still undecided as to whether I'll go or not due to cash flow considerations.
          • Re: Modest Mouse

Really? That's worth serious consideration for me as it's hardly a long way. The showdown has arrived: Essay Crisis v Modest Mouse...
            • Re: Modest Mouse

oooh can I text my vote in?

              vote modest
              • Re: Modest Mouse

Funny, that was where my vote was going too! Dunno about my tutor's like!
                • Re: Modest Mouse

Yeah, gigs hardly ever sell out at the Fez Club despite it being Reading's only viable venue for signed bands. Except when it's Biffy "We're The Future Of Rock" Clyro. God I hate that band.

If Modest Mouse do emerge victorious from the battle with the essay crisis, can I please take this opportunity to apologise in advance for my town's intrinsic shitness. And don't say I didn't warn you if the first thing you lay eyes upon as you walk out of the station is a pasty skag head asking for "40p for the bus to Maidenhead, bruv...cos I lost my wallet and I work in Maidenhead...it's not for skag or nothing...actually have you got a fiver mate?".

But yes. I do believe tickets are still available.
                  • Re: Modest Mouse

Hey, it's okay, I come from the north-east :p Can you get tickets at the door or do you have to book? If I can persuade someone (who's probably never heard of them) to come with me I'll definitely be there. Smooth muscle contraction can go fuck itself. As can Biffy "We Have One Good Song And Lots Of Tuneless Crap" Clyro, damn straight.
                    • Re: Modest Mouse

They were pretty good, Isaac had some major breakdown at the end screamed for all the lights on him to cut and launched into some whispered monologe that lasted for 6 or so minutes.
                      • Re: Modest Mouse

Yeah you should be able to get tickets on the door although I'm not sure what time doors open (presumably 7:30). Other than that, I know they're selling them in a local record shop called Sound Machine (althought that shuts at 5/5:30).
                        • Re: Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse were poo when I say them live. The songs just seemed empty compared to the recorded versions imo
  • Re: Modest Mouse

i saw them in the astoria on thurs and they were excellent. wow
