"fat puff"... for god's sake...

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

get over yourself you sanctamonius pratt.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

My aren't you clever. And homophobic.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

Hopefully all this worry of leakage might make them bring the release date forward a bit + i really can't find this anywhere... where was it meant to be leaked to??

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

actually pal, i'm a doctor, and I have numerous gay friends and look after homosexual patients regularly. Therefore, though i need not justify myself to a 16 year old, it is in actions and not words that one proves him or herself prejudiced. I call my gay friends poofs all the time. Secondly, a homophobe is someone whjo demonstrates irrational hatred of homosexuals because of self-loathing that he, himself is gay.
Now i don't know how the hell i got involved here but anyway, the album's great.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

"I call my gay friends poofs all the time. "

why?

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

er, because in the right context it's a humourous spin on 'homosexual'. Sorry if I have offended you with my disgraceful attitudes towards other people. They don't don't give a shit (sorry) as it happens.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

I'm 16, so what?

I just didn't like the way you starting "puffing" off so to speak, but now I see why you use it not as an offensive remark but as a funny one. My fault entirely.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

Surely its poof and not puff?

Puff was a dragon.
With magical qualities.
Living by the sea.
In Honiley.
Which is near Birmingham.
So not near the sea at all.

I think too much about nusery ryhmes.

Oh, by saying 'I have lots of Gay friends blah blah blah' you sound like the Spanish coach in his rant about blacks.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

"it is in actions and not words that one proves him or herself prejudiced"

erm, not on a messageboard it ain't.
you can only be judged on your words, because that's all you are here.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

this should be in the DIS top shittiest arguments ever!

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

although it doesn't quite beat 'why does everyone hate keane??'

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

I think we have some secret Elton John fans in the house!

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

you're telling me - fucking ridiculous.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

Don't worry dude, i know what you're on about. My best friend is gay and he calls me a "hetero twat" all the time. Some people just have no sense of humour. And anyone who likens this reasoning to the Spanish coach saying he has black friends is a fucking prick.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

Ha Ha Ha this whole thread is pathetic-

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

i'm ashamed to have started the wost thread ever. Sorry everyone.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

nonsense. I though it was excellent fun.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

hahahaha best thread ive read tonight.

Re: bloc party - silent alarm

Ok so Luis Aragones calls Thierry Henry a black shit and then justifies it a short while later by saying that he has lots of black friends so he cant posiibly be a racist.

Matey here calls Elton John a fat puff and then justifies it a short while later by saying that he has lots of gay friends so he cant psooibly be a homophobe.

Can anyone else see any similarities here?

He may have lots of gay friends and he probably isn't a homophobe but just because the language he used is acceptable amongst his friends does not make it alright on a public forum as far as I'm concerned.
