A new charity all day festival is to be held in Aberdeen. Cunningly titled 'Ballroom Blitz', it is to be held on Saturday 22nd September and is to be held at the Aberdeen Beach Ballroom.
15 bands, all from the surounding areas, are set to play all original material (a gig with no covers...I hold reservations), and all proceeds will be put towards 'Aberdeen Music For Charity.'
This charity has been formed by young musicians for young musicians and enables less fortunate bands to be able to perform and record.
With the exception of 6 DJ's (who are yet TBC), below is a list of all the bands so far confirmed :-
Maple
Festr
Risactonia
Quik
Deadloss Superstar
Nero
Flight 19
Small Enclosed Area
Sirius
DosDedos
Incendo
Subsist
Black Atom
Hauller
Point of Origin
If you can make it, please go and show your support to the local scene... you never know, one of these could be the next big thing!
