how does Monolith compare to The Tomb To Every Hope. I fucking love a couple of songs on The Tomb...but i'm left wanting on about half of it, Static Reigns I though, that ending!!!!!

YES!!

i haven't got The Tomb yet so i can't compare the albums but Monolith is brilliant.

From what I've read, The Tomb follows a more conventional album structure whereas most of Monolith is one continuous piece of music - all the songs are connected.

Both are great

But i think The Tomb just about edges it.

Monolith is, as mentioned above, pretty much just one track for almost the whole album, it's really worth checking out though. There's one other song on it called 'Earthbound', which is pretty similar to 'Outstayed', in terms of it being the closest they get to a traditional 3 minute pop song

Need to get your hands on The Tomb.. then! I'm not sure if it's still the case but when i bought it all Undergroove LPs were £6 in fopp, plus it's double disc with another CD consisting of remixes of Monolith, so it's a bargain.

i got a free Earthbound mp3 from somewhere...

think it might've been from DiS back in the freebie mp3 days. Must check out Monolith, i like the remixes that come with The Tomb...

Monolith: Starts off well, goes shit in the middle, but finishes off in devastating style that makes you forgive any prior errors.
