sounds likely

and shit

the same reliable source

that posted it here last night, and was just jagging his blog?

No

a very reliable source.

i'm extremely confident in my belief that

the 'reformed' smashing pumpkins will be 94.6% turd.

I would love

to see the breakdown of that. Go on .... for me. I assume such a high rating on the "turdometer" may lead you to beleive none of the orininal members, including corgan himself would be in the band, and that, even though this is the case, the very fact that somone may be playing 1 song you like could be the only marks in favour? Correct. This could be just mere speculation of your statistics.

wow, you have no sense of humour

incredible!

you never know

when 'tallica play they only do old stuff, they may do a greatest hits set of their first 3 albums with some good adore stuff too...

you seriously expect corgan to write a new album

and then not play any of it? Do you have any idea what this guy is like?

it'd be really really nice if they turned out to be good though...

And I suppose they could be if they didn't play anything new.

i think Corgan's well aware

of the gravitas riding on this, and i have every confidence he will come up with something ace as a result.

no

he's been treading water for a while now, but i don't think he's stupid enough to dare resurrect the name without something to back it up with.

but, hell, i think Adore is their best record, and we all know how THAT thread went, non?

i've always really liked adore

but billy seems somewhat stark raving insane these days, and after the solo album and all the bonkers stuff i'm dubious...

he was always stark raving insane

He just used to have a better press agent...

he should

stick to writing courtney love songs.

Oh god no

Please not.

I THINK

It will be good.

The Zwan album was okish.

The solo album was poor tho. BUT it's the pumpkins. He won't FUCK that up...

It'll be great I'm sure

he's got the solo bug out of his system and is ready to tear things up again, the biggest mistake with zwan was trying to make it into a big band rather than keep it bubbling under, the other members went off the rails when faced with mainstream acceptance and they weren't the (amazing) band they started out to be, this'll be more like it!

On another note I'm glad they're not suing us after last week:

yes JAG fucking get over it-

oh and

the news was confirmed by PR girl that's running their myspazz site last saturday in camden, Reading/Leeds 07 is on for the band
