As an older member of the community i am led to believe these soapdodgers who are proud to sing about wearing the same garment for days on end are the future of rock n roll yet all i hear is 'A brimful of asha'.

next please!

Yeah.

This is like the old 'When You Were Young' is just 'Born To Run'. Its like 'those three seconds sound similar'. Very weak argument.

Song is superb though.

"future of rock n roll"?!

"Same Jeans" does sound like Brimful of Asha and makes me feel a bit dirty as i wear jeans for far longer than that but I really like the first two singles they put out, as they've got far more personality and a lot less pomposity than most of their ilk. and they can write a tune too, and that sort of thing counts. even if i am suspicious of their 'meteoric' 'rise' to 'fame'.

cant say i like them

but it really does sound like brimful of asha. Just listen to the melodies 'ive had the same jeans on for four days now' and 'brimful of asha on the 45' they are very close, but that wouldnt be a problem until the 'so when you look in the mirror' bit that also sounds quite like the 'everyone needs a busoum' part. Before all view fans start off with the ' loads of songs borrow melodies' argument, that can be fine, just not 2 very distinct melodies from a single song!
