I really think it's about time that people who post really fucking hateful shit get banned from this forum.

Yes. The shit that Emollient said about Prole was fucking obscene. Obviously the band hating stuff is par-for-the-course. But people should go elsewhere to spew their bile.

I fully agree, although I'm not sure there's any way to (permanently) ban anybody from this board. Best just to ignore them really.

People are entitled to their opinion. I hate some bands and I do say so in the forum. Should I be banned? (Don't answer that one). It's called debate. Anyone who posts racist remarks or stuff like that should be at least cautioned if not banned though.

I was very very drunk when I wrote that. What I meant was, hateful as in people who write sick shit (see: emollient), not 'Oh god the Thrills are buttocks' or something, which I have said myself on many occasions.

Do you post that people whose tastes you don't agree with should die or their family should die ?

I believe you just refer to things you disagree with as gay, obviously anyone who doesn't share your tastes and values is dead inside.

Personally, I'd ban you, as I don't care for the cut of your jib.

Anyone who disagrees with that is also dead inside and should be banned forthwith.

I don't think I've ever called a band 'gay' before, although if you can provide evidence for that I will beg your pardon Cadd. People do disagree with me, which is a good thing, if 'everybody looked the same, we'd get tired of looking at each other' as a band on an advert sang. That doesn't mean I have to agree with their opinions, this is a 'Forum' remember for vigorous debate, discussion, frivolity and irreverence.

My New Years Revolutions then are; a) kick people's ass in debates
b) Stop calling emo 'gay'.
