Sup. Sometimes, right, it's good to keep your enemies close. Not that Playlouder - dot com - are our enemies. We just like hugging them. Close and tight and warm.

One of the terms of this relationship is that we tell you about shows they're doing, sometimes. Make sense? Good... this might not...

The Duloks (pictured), Diskoboy and 7 Year Glitch are kicking P'louder's year off at the Old Blue Last, London, on January 17; it's three quid in for you, mate, and you'd best pack enough coins for a drink, 'cause the bill's mental enough for you to need one. Trust: we just listened to all three of them.

MySpace links are available at individual band profiles. So click them, if you like. Says P'louder of said acts...

"Diskoboy make eloquent, sparkling pop that sounds so French it ought to be a coquettishly crapping poodle... The Duloks are perfect pop in short shorts and pop socks, with melodies the charts would murder children with bunny rabbit's fangs to get their hands on, and a witty, at times randy, stage presence... 7 Year Glitch were early spinners of the discs of grime, and recently have been hitting up dancefloors further and wider across Londinium."

Sound good? Then go!
