This is from an email from the man himself via his mailing list. It sucks that he's not playing his own shows, but I guess the GCWCF kids can enjoy a bit of post hardcore history. I hear he plays a selection of Rival Schools, Quicksand, Walking Concert etc, so yes, should be good.

Thats awesome.
One of the unsung heroes of modern music. I love this man.
The Walking Concert album wasn't that great.
No it wasn't.
But think about
Gorilla Biscuits
Quicksand
Rival Schools
...
agreed
however the rest of his back catalogue is amazing, yes?
he also needs to hurry up and release the unreleased rival schools album.
Though I like the Rival Schools album
you can't deny he sounds a bit like the guy from Bush, can you?
not really
Does that mean you can't deny that statement?
I'll deny it
means
i flat i flat out deny it!!!!
who?
who?
good call
i miss rival schools :(
those r the same dates that jeremy warmlsey is playing
bastard.
HE
is supporting get cape wear cape fall asleep??????
something is wrong with the world.
very wrong.
i would imagine that
given how non-existant his profile basically is, he's here at the INVITE of gcwcf. if that hadn't happened, he probably wouldn't be here at all.
hooray
for sam.
Need to see him solo!
I've seen press pictures of GCWCF wearing a Rival Schools hoodie so quite possibly it is an invite.
I hate GCWCF tho. I'll still be going to this though if I can afford it. I was lucky enough to see Rival Schools and Walking Concert live.
.
It is an invite thing. Sam is a huge fan of Walter's and the two of them played together back in June 05 when Walking Concert toured the UK.
I think Walter is planning on coming back again soon. He lives in Berlin now so can get to England a lot easier than he used to be able to from New York
Phew
Cause the date at the QMU is already sold out.
