Blame it on the Middleman? What, your cheap CD prices? Ex-Arab Strap man plays Fopps...
Posted: 08 Feb '07, 13:13
Former Arab Strap Scotsman Malcolm Middleton - he will make it up to you with lots of steak McCoys - is to play a number of Fopp stores in February and March.
Middleton releases his third solo album, and first for new(ish) label Full Time Hobby, on February 26. A Brighter Beat is the record's title, and it's sure to be reviewed on these pages before long.
Each of the Fopp instores is a free-entry event, but attendees must get a wristband from the store in question on the day of the gig. Said 'tickets' are available for collection from 9am each morning.
Them there dates, then, and the performance times...

I love Fopp...
...they just came up trumps for us - we had organised a gig at an art gallery, which cancelled with 4 days to go... but Fopp at Tottenham Court Road are putting it on this Saturday, the wee gems that they are!!!
So please, please come along and buy lots of their CDs and drinks from the bar and that... it's a brilliant line up, details here:

cant believe
that terrorvision reference in the headline has thus far gone unnoticed.

Surprise surprise another lack of in-store in Southampton. Will working at Fopp ever be excited?
