The Meadowlands is one of my favourite ever records. It is the sort of record that deserves to be a hit and heard by everyone who loves music. There isn't one bad song on that record from start to finish. Not only that but it took years to make in their living room whilst they all held down regular jobs. An absolute inspiration to any aspiring muscian.....

It's amazing isn't it. It's as close as I've heard to a perfect record. Every song is fantastic and it flows beautifully, the tone of the album switches from heartbroken to nostalgic to triumphant to desperate and back to heartbroken again, and it's all so effortless. I love the vocals and the instrumentation too, and the songwriting is unbelievable.
Add all that to the fact that there's some serious good memories attached to that album and that it's an album that makes me feel awesome, and it's definitely one of my favourite records ever, if not my absolute favourite.

the arcade fire are great - album of the year (wen its finally out) potential is very high
and that show is good for discovering new music ..i think they still have a session by jesca hoop up there.

I hear their live show is amazing. And despite relative popularity amongst the indie set I was surprised their concerts sold out as quickly as they did. I'll bet their UK shows do the same. I'm kickin' myself for missing their SoCal shows! I strongly urge you to get yer tix asap.
