I used to love watching him down at Roots Hall when I was about eight years old. He was my favourite player. It used to be good down there, what with Barry Fry, Stan Collymore etc. I was in the North Stand when we beat Newcastle!

Then Barry Fry had to be a shit and take Ricky Otto with him to Peterborough. A part of my soul died that day

Wasn't he a bit like tony daley, in a running-fast-down-the-wing-often-without-the-ball kind of way...
