Yeah but fightstar and gonna be a lot more hated then the thousand other bands simply due to the busted thing...they don't really deserve hate, they don't deserve any success really either, they deserve to just play a couple gigs in a local club then split up like the thousand other bands most probably will. I think its a waste of time/energy to something so pointless. Of course they may also develop into something better over time. I mean the rolling stones started as a covers band, Hendrix as a backing guitarist, so did so many other bands who changed the face of music so there’s always the chance one of those thousand bands (maybe even fightstar) could develop into something new and exciting.

Saw them on Thursday for the first, and I imagine the last time; when they most unexpectedly supported My Vitriol.
They just sounded very derivative to me. Each song they did sounded just like one or another famous, and much better band. Maybe one day they will evolve an identity and sound of their own, but at the moment it is more like 'rock muzak'

I personally love Fightstar. I really like their music and its nothing to do with any sort of Busted connection at all-I personally think Alex is "buffer" than Chaz so have not just followed the fit eyebrowey one in all that he does.
And I disagree with whoever said that if Charlie hadn't of been in Busted nobody would give a shit about them because many people on the Fightstar forums hated busted or heard Fightstars music so checked them out and found out afterwards it was Charlie of Busted fame in the band. Fightstar had a large fanbase before they were publicly known or even known by the majority of Busted fans.
All the press and people who are not giving Fightstar a chance just because of the Busted connection are just very narrow minded people-there is not a hint of Busted in any Fightstar music! And Im sure everybody in the world likes more than one genre of music so why not play more than one genre of music if you are talented enough to do it (which by the way all members of Fightstar are-there is no not plugging the guitars in or whatever was mentioned earlier)

And ok they may not be the most origional band in the world ever but you cant have too much of a good thing!
