As none of my friends seem to like them, I was wondering who here likes them, what's their favourite Placebo album and top 5 songs?
For me, their best album (not heard them all admittedly) is their debut, and their top 5 songs are Teenage Angst, Infra-Red, The Bitter End, Follow The Cops Back Home and Pierrot The Clown. I know there's a lot of Meds songs in there but it's my current album obsession along with Kid A for some reason...

I had an obsession with Molko's painted toenails in one of their vids for the longest time. And I HATE feet. Hmm.
I am a longtime Placebo fan
I think their best album is Black Market Music. Thei top 5 songs are: the Crawl, Special K, Infra-Red, Black-Eyed, Without You I Am Nothing. None of my friends like them, but that doesn't prevent me from listening to them. I have all of their albums (I personally think the debut album sucks musically but not lyrically). My friends don't care what I listen to. To them, music is just an entertainment, nothing too important. They don't even talk about it much.
I pretty much disagree with all that.
Musically, the first Placebo album was pretty good. The second album is, for me, by far their best. Black Market Music is probably their worst, what with that awful song with rapping in it.
First album is good.
Second is OK.
The rest is bad ( even if the first 3 songs from the last one are actually quite good ).
Very bad live band.
Got in to them last year
Meds IMO is a great album, lots of tunes on there. The first two are also great, I think I prefer the second one.
Album: Meds
Songs: Nancy Boy, Pure Morning, You Don't Care About Us, Meds, Bitter End.

the more recent you get the shitter they get, unfortunately. i used to preoperly <3 placebo though. Top five songs? not sure, but i'd be pretty certain they would all be on the s/t
four of mine would
plus Brick Shithouse. Maybe You Don't Care About Us too.
I've been looking for my Placebo s/t today and I can't find it. I'm annoyed.
