Tone Club Nottingham

A new night has started at Trent university called "the tone club" which is fortnightly on Wednesdays.

Here is the line up

2nd Feb (open to the public)
The Black Velvets
+ Man playing Kazoo

16th Feb (Nus + Guests Only)
The Beat Up
+ Dragonflies draw flame

2nd Mar (Nus + Guests only)
Echelon
+ Lo-ego

16th Mar (Nus + Guests only)
The Research
+ Special Guests

Doors open at 9pm and it's always only £3 to get in no matter who is playing.

The licence is a bit of a pain most of the gigs have to be NUS + Guests only. This isn't too much of a problem though as usually there are enough students around that are happy to sign you in if your nice.

It's bands till 11pm then a wicked indie club night till 2am + The drinks are cheap

Atmosphere, projections + Nice people !

    I went to a night there it was shite as they closed the over priced hard to get served at bar before the last gig and you couldnt see a thing cus the stage was to low. But least the sound was shite but how can they compete with proper venues in notts?
