Yeah The Magnet is retty good.
Quite chilled and stuff in the week though. The Cavern is on the other side of town of all places suggested so far, the only places round the cavern are clubs like Reflex and Flares.

Everyone in my school used to go to Garlands
on a Friday night. My friends used to make me go sometimes. WORST PLACE EVER. Expensive, very bad music, everyone is on drugs, it is to loud to talk and it's full of scallies.

That was my fave haunt - and HeebeeJeeBees on a Monday night - this was 1994-1999 though. Actually everywhere was good barring the Students Guild 'funnily' enough

it's liquidation every saturday night, also my favourite haunt. Didn't realise it had been going so long. Pretty much the only place to go in Liverpool on a saturday.

It used to be at Hardys, which is called 'Streets' or something - in Hardman Street? Danyn from ladytron used to DJ every saturday with his Japanese wife and I got 'involved' in a John Moores Liverpool uni 'stand off' one night as I got kicked out of a band that was made up of Poly students - it was quite pathetic looking back.
Its been going since 93 I think.
