    That sounds like a very interesting line-up! I have seen Akira and Querelle before, and enjoyed their performances. Also, a friend had previously recommended The Exploits of Elaine to me.
    So, I know where I shall be on the 9th :)

      Bethia Bedman, I believe, is also playing. She's likened to both PJ Harvey and Fiona Apple, which cannae be bad. Well, the PJ Harvey thing can't anyway; all I knows about Ms Apple is that one of her albums has a title that'd make Godspeed and Youthmovies look succinct and to the point.

      Anyway, we (of the exploiting Elaine variety) are much excited about this gig. It's free entry, so you've got precisely sod all to lose by coming along.

            Bethia Beadman is indeed playing. It's her first London show in a long time.

            As a totally biased friend of most of the people that are playing, I think it's gonna be a good night.

              Just need to make sure they get a big audience there on the night. With this line up, they deserve to.

              As long as that doesn't mean I can't still get my spot at the front, without a tall person standing in front of me ;)

                                  They were indeed even more stunning than when I saw them before at The Dublin Castle. But all the bands and artists were excellent. A very good night, I can't wait for the next one now!
