I ended up putting a tenner on Inglis Drever to win 2 mins before they were off. That is me done for the day now. Take it and run after my previous form.
What a fantastic run though from Drever, pace coming off the last was spectacular.

Drever looked in complete control coming off the last, while Mighty Man could never quite find full stride. Cracking race though... Black Jacks Fall was spectacular as well.
There was a very solemn shot of Tony McCoy sat down with head in hands asking where it all went wrong...

Drever is such an honest horse, really doesn't know how to run a bad race. I've been a bit lucky this week in as much as the horses that I have been worried about against my selections all seem to have come a cropper during the race, but with Inglis Drever you were always guaranteed a horse that would run a good race

I have never been fully confident of my selections this week but there was a funny feeling I had about Inglis.
I am toying with the idea of having a couple of minor wagers on the Racing Post Plate now. Gutted I am missing the entire day tomorrow... Dammit. Been a top class week of racing so far!

I hate Cheltenham
I had money on Black Jack Ketchum. He was shit. Ditto Monet's Garden.
Bob Hall was slightly better. But you get nothing for 2nd place.
I was annoyed so stuck £2 on 2 random dogs to finish 1st and 2nd. And they did. And I got £40.
In summary - this just proves that horses are shit. And dogs are good.

was placed at 7/1, if memory serves. The place odds are 1/4, and so in effect 7/1 becomes 7/4. One pound has gone on to win which it didn't, but one pound has gone on the place which it did. Therefore, you have £1 at 7/4, which is £2.75.
