Re: metrosexuals
if you're questioning your sexuality, its probably not best to do it on a message board. that's what your school guidance teacher is for.
Re: metrosexuals
hahahaha mer de mer
i dunno
maybe
sounds right - possibly
actually i am curious now
come on someone who is all clever - is it?
Re: metrosexuals
metrosexual(met.roh.SEK.shoo.ul) n. An urban male with a strong aesthetic sense who spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle.
metrosexuality n.
It doesn't treally have anything to do with sexuality. So there!
Re: metrosexuals
Not me then. Would anyone here categoryrise themselves as metrosexual?
Re: metrosexuals
not me
i only eat steak ... and drink beer ... and go weeks without bathing
grr, manly !
Re: metrosexuals
It depends on the situation, chillin with the boys its jeans and t-shirt. Messy greesy hair and stinky. But if there is ladies around BAM i become metro man
Re: metrosexuals
That makes you, sir, a retrosexual.
Re: metrosexuals
so a poser with a pink shirt?
Re: metrosexuals
There are loads of guys who are metros. Do you buy expensive aftershave, creams, lotions? Use Clinique products? Have an idea of why you should buy the jeans/pants/shirt in shop A rather than B? Do you spend ages in the bathroom? Is looking good a necessity not a pre requisite to a date? Do you straighten your hair with GHD's? Then you are metrosexual and you smell good.
Re: metrosexuals
I half qualify, half don't. Yes to expensive aftershave, no to any kind of face creams etc. Yes to buying from certain shops, definitely no to hair straighteners (?!). Yes to smelling good, no to being a metro because there is a difference between wanting to look good and being a twatty vain more-money-than-sense egotist.
Re: metrosexuals
Metros are also in touch with their feminine side, sensitive, caring etc. They are massive consumers though.
Re: metrosexuals
Am I one then because I...
Do my hair everyday
Put deogerant on
Own alot of clothes
Am quite caring at times
Not very rough
But..
I'm not a very big consumer.
Most of my clothes I get 2nd hand
Re: metrosexuals
That would make you emo then.
Re: metrosexuals
where did this metrosexual come from
Re: metrosexuals
Look at my band ratings. I am not in the slightest 'emo'
Re: metrosexuals
Emosexual?
Re: metrosexuals
Emu-sexual
Re: metrosexuals
Why don't we just agree on "twat".
Re: metrosexuals
Who the fuck are you wiggles and waht is your problem. Why cant you just wiggle off and stop following me around the forums delibertaly just to argue with every post I make. Its sad and pathetic you twat.
Re: metrosexuals
hmm, i would say i was metrosexual...but i go to the gym...and i smell. but i have long hair which i straighten often. and im straight. maybe im a tetri-sexual
Re: metrosexuals
Surely 'emusexuality' is illegal?
Re: metrosexuals
...and morally wrong, of course
Re: metrosexuals
Do any of you remember the picture of the male model holding a baby showing he could be a strong and tough man yet also soft and caring. That's a metrosexual trait. But straightening your hair is not really a necessity esp for a guy so that's considered a metrosexual thing to do.
Urban dictionary says - Metrosexual = A straight man who embraces the homosexual lifestyle i.e refined tastes in clothing, excessive use of designer hygiene products (read Clinique)
That's only one way of looking at it. I do wonder what has made men become more image concious and keen to look ultra groomed and polished. The ad men must be doing a good job.
Re: metrosexuals
Who the fuck are you? Everywhere I look I see your ill-informed, bigoted comments. You are either being controversial for the sake of it, or (more likely), are just an arrogant, retarded, racist, homophobic teenager (and trust me, I know your type). If you can't handle the backlash, don't say stupid things. Think you can manage that?
Re: metrosexuals
Yea keep telling yourself that. Dickweed
Re: metrosexuals
A bloke that everyone thinks is gay, but who actually isn't. Jon Snow off of the Channel 4 news.
Re: metrosexuals
I think it is a mis-definition...I think Patricide is wrong...unless you define sensitivity as a female trait (remember Mrs Thatcher/Edwina Curry).
Caring for the helpless...is a common human trait and can occur before the onset of adolesence so it seems wrong to use that image.
I am sensitive...I love flowers...poetry....but at least I dont smell like flowers...I'm not a puff...which is what blokes who spend too much time on 'beauty products' are.....it has nothing to do with sexuality....I guess the converse is true and you can have really manly homosexuals?
I say ...be real men...wash your hair with whatever is in the bathroom...or washing up liquid...or soap.
Use any alcahol (as long as its not sweet) as an aftershave (I used to use gin)
Or TCP also makes an effective aftershave, it is also a very cost efficient scent, or you could also try olbas oil.
Re: metrosexuals
Nah, real men don't use aftershave. Real men don't shave.
Re: metrosexuals
'I have got hair all over....I do spend some time on grooming but am not caught up by the consumerist aspect....I have made amourous advances towards another male(but he bit me), but do not like it when males make amourous advances towards myself (I bite them), I have big balls (relatively)....am I a metrosexual?'
