I just read through that. I like Bright Eyes, but the article raised some good point, and the replies were comedy gold.

thats a funny article, dont agree with it all but found it funny. i still want to go and see bright eyes and rilo kiley though!

i don't particularly dislike bright eyes as such. some of his older stuff is quite good, and i do identify with some of the things he is trying to say. however, his latest stuff has yet to be desired in my opinion. it's a bit dry, a bit dull, pretty same old.
the only thing i resent about that entertaining, painfully honest article, was that it slags off saddle creek bands. Rilo kiley are one of the most inspirational bands i have ever listened to. every lyric they come up with is fresh, beautiful and true to them. it is a little unfair to cast the legendary Rilo Kiley into the same category as bright eyes. they are in a totally different league of fantasticness! (make up word as required time)
