how quickly will this sell out? today? within the hour?
with RHCP, Razorlight and Smashing Pumpkins as the rumoured headliners, is their that big a crowd pleaser this year? does anyone really care about RHCP enough to fork out £160 on a ticket?
(and yes, i know there is a festivals board, but i dont think that many people actually read it)
The thing about Reading though
is that it doesn't matter if the headliners are shit, because there's always something good going on in one of the tents. I've never felt like I've wasted my money there.

what i meant was - are the tickets going to sell like crazy because everyone wants to see one or more of the headliners A LOT. and i don't think there is that 'massive' attraction this year - no metallica, or pixies or anything like that

i've been to Reading for the last 8 years and loved it.
But
its got slowly shitter year on year and instead of going for the "ten years in a row" that i have been working towards for all these years, i have decided to not bother this year. It'll be fucking shite. Full of cunts and chav's and theives and pikiees and twats on pills.
Each year you get more and more fuckwits there as live music has become more mainstream and accessable to the masses.
I'm fed up so fucking off to some foreign festivals and one nice weekend at Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight. Bring on Bestival!

i thought that was ACENESS at the time, but if the equivalent lineup for 2007 (Killers, Kasabian and , erm Foo Fighters?) were to be announced this year i would think it was shite

Thats a fact. I mean, first year i went i bought tickets a week before from HMV in Basingstoke, rather than HMV in Reading cos they'd sold out, last year i got tickets, and they'd sold out in half an hour, its just fucking madness

Last year was ridiculous. Might go if they're gonna make the arena significantly bigger or cut the number of tickets (as if).
Knowing Mean Fiddler it'll be even more tickets and more overcrowded this year though.
