  • i have a video

on my camera. i keep meaning to have a look at it..

    • but, yeah

      good show.
      no Make War though...

      • nah

        not really.

i bought a new camera a few months ago and wanted to see what the filming was like. i THOUGHT he was going to play a short song, but it turned out to be a long one that he medleyed into another song so in the end i filmed about 9 minutes worth. pffft.

        • In all seriousness though

What did you make of the Koko show? I know it was heavy on new material and I was fully expecting that, but I was still a little... underwhelmed. He just didn't seem that into it. Like the new stuff, though. Kinda sounds a bit more Americana-y

Also, I saw one Guillemot and two Test-Icicles

  • one of WHAT people may i ask?

yeah shame he ran off at the end of the set. stray dog freedom was a new good one.

    • I thought it was fantastic

Really enjoyed the new songs. Don't know them individually, but I thought the organ sound on the new tracks was lovely and warm, and suited Conor's voice really well. The atmosphere was polite and appreciative rather than raucous, but that's the nature of these preview gigs....

  • ..

its because conor doesnt like touring in britain. apparantly he doesnt like us brits etc and doesnt like the country of englaand.

  • yeah i know

i think its just the publicity he doesnt like. like at the end of the show on sunday he ran off stage.. to get away quickly. he doesnt like the 'fans'here. even though he will get that in america too. i think he thinks we are also rude and arrogant etc etc...

    • I guess the press

have a reputation for being cynical here, but he has quite a lot of loyal fans here, who'd be anything but rude to him!

Did you enjoy the show then?

      • yeah i know

i mean its what i have heard. it might be totally wrong. but if you watch shows from america, he seems a lot more into them , talks a lot etc etc. but here, he keeps quiet.

yeah it was amazing i thought. beautifully done. and his voice was spot on perfect. the music was too.

        did you enjoy it?

        • I thought it

was really lovely....the band was much better than the other times I've seen him......he was really animated, despite not chatting much, so that was good. I didn't mind the lack of old stuff either.
