DiS exclusive: Maximo Park to play tiny London show next week

Maximo Park – perhaps you’ve heard of ‘em, or even heard them! – are to play a special, one-off and pretty darn intimate show next week, to celebrate the release of their second album, Our Earthly Pleasures.

The Newcastle five-piece will take to the stage of London’s famous 100 Club on Monday evening – that’s April 2, you calendar-less sorts. The band’s new album is released the same day. Coincidence? WTF you reckon, chief?!

Tickets for this gonna-be-rammed show go on sale on Saturday, March 31, at 10am. They’re available from the Stargreen Box Office on Argyll Street, London, for fifteen of your British pounds. Here’s Stargreen’s website.
