I was listening to Illnoise by Sufjan Stevens earlier on, and this song (track 7) came on. it's a really nice song.

that is all.

.....

The whole album is lovely. I'm listining to it at work right now and it has brightened my day up considerably :-)

hah

yeah it gives me a warm feeling just thinking about it.

its not wee.

Our step mom we did everything to hate her

She took us down to the edge of Decatur

We saw the lion and the kangeroo take her

Down to the river where they caught a wild alligator

Debater/emancipator

might be my favourite rhyme ever just for how he doesn't even sound like he's stretching for it.

one of the happier ones

has a nice bounce to it.

its amazing!

i cant stop listening to that song.

Not sure about the last verse though, and i quote:

Chicken Mobile, and your rooster tail
I've had my fill, and i know how bad i feels
Stay awake, and watch for the data
No small caterpillar
Go congratualte her

???

When is he next over here? I love that dude, And i'm a man.

i don't know though

the more a listen the more religious references i recognise. can be a little off puttting. not this song, but sufjan generally.

DUDE

I totally grew up in Decatur Illinois...obviously I love this album and this song trips me out...I don't know about wild alligators though......

The album is called

ILLINOIS

Never Illinoise. I am a right fascist about this point.

ILLINOIS.
