Clor, definately

+
DFA 1979
Test-Icicles

and

The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy too...

aw,

really hoping that the guy from dfa 1979 isn't going to be a mstrkrft-ing it forever...

^^

wrong
only an ep

yeap

the spirit of Clor lives on in london indie clubs. or it should do.

Jeff Buckley. definately.

The Dum Dums!

'It goes without saying' is a masterpiece of sugary pop rock goodness. I still adore that record.

Apart from...

"Army of Two", yep, great pop record. And genuinely lovely, lovely people.

army of two

best one on there! I have their entire back catalogue and stood in awe when I saw them at Incubus. (In the crowd. watching them with me.)

their 'second' album

was on their website to download...

I know

It's still there. It's just a collection of demos though isn't it..not really an album as such. I should probably download them sometime.

yes

but it gives an idea of what might have been...

Their b-sides

were always so great.

Life Without Buildings

The Organ
but both have an awesome EP to their names too, so that's small consolation.

I'm sure DFA

had two albums, as I was picked up on this once. Perhaps the first wasn't offically released over here.

DFA

released an EP & a remix album too, but only one LP.

Dum Dums

The La's
Jeff Buckley

Menswear

lol

Buckley that is

also

Desaparecidos
The Germs
Lift To Experience
Texas Is The Reason

texas is the reason=ace

can I borrow some lift to experience off you fullers?

Yes.

You can.

X-Ray Spex?
The French?
My Vitriol?

x-ray spex made two albums!

one was in 1995 though...

Desaparecidos

Postal Service (follow-up though apparently)
Buckley

err

Test-Icicles for sure! Tasteless name but great music.... for what it was anyways, its funny the best disco hardcore/emo band was actually a joke band! soooo ironic

Let's see

Honeycrack
The Samurai Seven

... bugger, there's loads and I've forgotten them now.

Oh yeah

Propellerheads.

Very good... you give me so much at one time.

Yes I do.
I may have bigger for you.
Bigger? My, my.

One answer :

Crashland !

The Vaselines

Ultrasound

A great shame that they couldn't fucking stand each other.

the murder of rosa luxemburg

bookended by two eps, i know, but still...

i reckon

scars

The Ruts

The Avalanches (I know there's meant to be another album coming, but it's all a bit Chinese Democracy isn't it?)

Texas Is The Reason

is the only one I can think of at the moment

Delta 5

Life Without Buildings

;

Sunna
Radiator
The Workhorse Movement
Deep Purple with Tommy Bolin on guitar
Black Sabbath with Ian Gillan on vocals

Sunna :D

Also Rival Schools

.

Yup yup.

The Murder of and Rival Schools.

Although the unreleased stuff that was gonna be on Rivals Schools second album is supposed to be coming out.

The

Monks

THE

UNICORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

um

ThE sEx piStOls

22-20s

The Vessels

i wanted

to make sure i didn't say Sex Pistols. i think they were born a one-album band and that's part of what made them brilliant.

the warm jets

tragic.

Indeed !

jeff buckley

:(

Instruction

I really liked Shea Seger

and then she entirely disappeared.

Does anybody remember Chupacabra by Imani Coppola, too? It was such a weird and sunny pop album.

the

martini henry rifles

my girlfriend

loves the shea seger record. she has indeed completely disappeared off the face of the planet.

I used to know Shea Seger

she was nice.

Carrie

Steve Ludwin is a great pop/rock songwriter. Little Hell were shit though.

Life Without Buildings

(as said twice already)

Moist Fist

owls

rival schools
desaparecidos
murder of rosa luxemburg

Cable!

Re Mr Fullerov

Couldja gimme a one-liner-erz on Texas is the Reason and Lift to Experience. The latter sounds quite familiar and me's thinkin' that band evolved into another.

Also, as a personal note to ya all's...I've been outta town...uhm, sorta and I've missed ya's. Good to be home, as it were. :-)

life without buildings

(again)

terris - i'm not joking that album was actually really good

nut - cat goscovitch wherefore art thou?

.

donderevo!

does anyone know what happened to them?

Rodan

..

Good call.

YES!

OWLS!!!

soiled doves

band featuring johnny whitney, hannah billie on drums and devon welch on guitar. pretty excellent. think they had some other bands on the go at the time! they also seem to be called the vogue at one point with the addition of a keyboard man. would be good if both made more records

yes

made too many albums

FARAQUET

the view from this tower. 9 tracks and its perfect. broke up simply because they couldn't find anywhere to rehearse. follow-up band medications not nearly as good.

Life Without Buildings

Ultrasound
Monsoon Bassoon

why is everyone saying Life Without Buildings?

the album was fantastic, yes, but seriously. another album of THAT? it would've been enough to dirve anyone insane.
even the album grated a bit after a few listens.
no no, they left it where they should have.

They might have,

y'know, developed.

mad season

senser

I think

Faraquet?

Two of them formed a new band called Medications. It's supposed to be in the same vain but I'm not feeling it.

an emo feel

New End Original
Desperacidos
Rival Schools

The Pets

Split before the wonderful Love & War was even released.

Black Star

And if MF Doom want to do more King Geedorah, then that's fine by me. More Non-Prophets would be nice too.

Also: Douglas only put out one proper album, and they ruled OK.

Can only think of one

Union Kid!

MOTHER LOVE BONE!!

.

Mmm...

Ultrasound
The Tears
