Well actually I miss a regular club night like that.

I don't miss the Barfly or the price to get in to watch a band not be as good as they normally are thanks to the Barfly.

some great bands, diver playing One Armed Scissor, Dobson playing Don't Stop Me Now, 80s kids movies on the screens, colin doling out drinks tokens, members of 5ive getting on down, out of towners having something specific to rally around, the bit at the end of the night where i would go "party at colin's!!!!!" and everyone would stand around outside waiting to leave then everyone would slope off on their own and id go home for a crank.

and it being tons of work trying to get bands to play and then everyone good cancelling a few days before leaving us wasting loadsa time we dont have.
and then no-one turning up to most of them after lock tavern got a late license and barfly deciding to put hire fee up and making drink tokens only work for bottles of carling (spew!).
sigh.
