im sorry. but any band with a "the" in it sucks.

the yeah yeah yeahs

the doves
the vines
the kings of leon
the killers
the thrills
the white stripes
the..... you get the picture, these bands really stink, how can anyone like their stuff....argh. it makesd me mad. every week all i see in the charts is shit. even green day have started falling in to this!!! how can this be? green day are good but do i have to indure broken dreams on the radio one more time or have to listen to the video one more time????? ARGH. its all shit. shit shit shit shit. Also, kasabian, franz fredinand and all the shit thats being pumped into your heads these days. I hate them all... and I hate....you. so there, come on rant at me! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha........

you guys are funny. i was just messing around...actually. i wasn't...not too sure. hahaha. the funny thing is that its all about opinion. yeah the ramones were great. the libertines suck balls. but thats my opinion... who are any of you to tell me I'm wrong? why do i have a right to tell you that the libertines are shit? well... i do have the right, but does it make me correct? no.. its all opinions....fool. you have no right to tell me I'm wrong in saying these bands are shit as I dont have the right to make you listen to music I like. does motzart like the libertines? no... im guessing not. but how can someone who is a musical genius hate a band that you like???? confused? i sure am. oh well. I just find it amusing that many of you have have nothing better to do with your time than argues with me about something that I dont give a shit about.

new music trends are shit to me. pure, pure shit. who non of you realise is that it doesn't matter. what matters is that you listen to what you want and nobody has the right to tell you otherwise, and like wise, you don't have the rights to tell anyone else what to listen to.

In your defence chubby mark most of those bands on your list do suck balls, amoungst other things. But if people are happy to listen to safe, commerical, media backed puppy pop/rock bands who's main focus is looking cool, let um, and be glad your different.

Well you must obviously give some sort of a shit to bother to post in the first place, and then come back to follow up the replies. My post was in reply to your 'all bands iwth 'the' in their name are shit' remark because that's blatantly untrue.

And if you really don't give a shit and find it amusing to argue with people who have nothing better to do with their time, then you need to redefine your sense of humour. I bet you like football too.

Mozart is dead though! Also last time I looked the majority of bands on Fat Wreck Chords sound EXACTLY the same. But you know, that's fine! If you are happy listening to that lot of bands who became a 'new musical trend' in about 1995 when THE Offspring got famous then ok. You're missing out on a lot of great music though. Not many of the bands you named above mind, but still.

To be honest, I'd say a good few of those bands don't technically have "the" in front of them. It just kind of fits.
