I seem to only be listening to Leeds bands these days & Nine Inch Nails.

How about people name an ace band from their town (with myspace/website link)so I can stop being a New-Yorkshire nobhead.

Mine is

Leeds - Humanfly - www.myspace.com/humanfly

Southampton - The Glad Rags - www.myspace.com/thegladrags

aha

i saw them last night with thunderbirds are now! and lovvers and was totally blown away. i then bought their album with the octopus on the front and didn't like it so much on record, but hopefully i'll get into it. the production just seemed to suffocate the songs a little.

incidentally the gig was awesome, but by the time TAN! came on there was literally ten people there. a sad state of affairs.

Was that

at the Windmill? Had been meaning to see TAN! thought they'd be a slightly bigger draw than that.

nah

it was at Bristol.
I came from Cardiff so had to leave before thend because of lasttrainissues. it was almost embarassing, i think TAN! were really quite offended by the turn out. especially cos i think they were only playing two Uk shows or something.

Haha

I'm picturing them playing a very quick set up with exaggerated surly faces. Shame though.
