Check out their pretty new site:

www.blueskyresearch.tv

Lovely boys with lovely songs, I am biased but you should check out the mp3's anyway, they're playing the Windmill on Wednesday.

Here's how they describe themselves:

A 5 piece from Southsea that deal in big songs and West Coast harmonies. If you stuck Love, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, the Byrds, Ride, the Roses and early Verve in a country house for a few months, you'd get Bluesky Reseach.

Re: Bluesky Research

Nope, sadly I'm working :( Need to check it is in the Windmill actually, got a feeling I might be lying...

Re: Bluesky Research

I hear that they're playing somewhere in Notting Hill this week… which is far away when they are playing at the Buffalo bar next week – see you there SCL and squells?

Re: Bluesky Research

What day?? If it's not Weds or Friday and Bamos hasn't dumped Mrs Bamos for Thursday then count me in!!!!!!

Re: Bluesky Research

According to their purty website, the Buffalo Bar gig is Thursday 10th, along with KBC, whoever they are.

Re: Bluesky Research

if you're not busy on friday...

Friday 4th March
Bush Hall, 310 Uxbridge Rd, Shepherds Bush, London W12, Circulus, The Pipettes and Daisy, Kitty, Lewis and Kurt. Doors 8pm -£6

circulus are like medieval prog rock and sing about poundstretcher, the pipettes are a three piece girl band a bit like the shangrillas but with clever lyrics and daisy kitty lewis and kurt are tiny children (well teenagers) who sing country songs.

Re: Bluesky Research
