Do people actually say "lol" out loud? I can tolerate it via msn but out loud just seems dumb and i've never heard anyone actually say it.

my friend said lol by accident once. Most embarassing moment of her life. It wasn't an MSN thing though it was because she texted too much.
What's even more annoying is when you have friends who can speak perfectly fine but as soon as you get onto MSN its spk lyk dis innit!? and I'm like, what the mofoing fuck did you just say!?
