thisGIRL: undefineable post hardcore emo spaz riffy gut rock with a few sweet numbers thrown in... basically these guys have been ploughing their own field for a few years now and gained recognition last year with their awesome debut on drownedinsound recordings, 'Uno'. This showed the band maturing from their punkier roots to hone beautifully crafted songs laced with killer riffs, thumping bass, powerful and tight as hell skin work all coated in a generous helping of yelping and crooning... praise has come from the NME to Kerrang! to Rock Sound and everywhere in between... having played with metal whores (Limp Bizkit) and metal pin ups (Lost Prophets) amongst just about every single other band on the circuit, the band found time to be nominated for Kerrang! best new band, nip off to the states, play various festivals and only a few months ago came off an extensive european tour as main support for the International Noise Conspiracy... big things ahead for these guys, so catch them while you can before they become dots on a bigger stage...

Peace Burial At Sea: main support comes from these guys, who you might have seen on tour with Sheffield's own 65daysofstatic... described by Kerrang! as "like slint & radiohead locked in a room together", they come on all quiet and then bite you harder than a sabre toothed tiger ra they go ra they go ra with beautiful melody and poetic lyrics swirling round the rock... they're named after a painting, don't ya know.
