The best British movie this year? I would have to say so.
Anyone seen it? The kid who played Shaun was superb, and the nostalgia factor brought back so many memories (good and bad).

he's from grimsby!
his brother went to my school!
i see him at football matches all the time!!!!
i've not seen the film though. soz!
OK
Too much like two films jammed together to make one.
28 weeks later was better.
Also
anybody know where its supposed to be set. Everyone in it seems to have a different regional accent.
I'd say it's set in Bolton
The only other distinguishable accent was scouse (Combo)
top film
the fella who played combo was outstanding I thought. extremely good acting!!
i love shane meadows I have to admit!
East Midlands
isn't it? Nottingham way i reckon. His films noramlly are based around there.
Brilliant film. Stephen Graham is amazing.
Yeah
I did a bit of research on imdb and it seems it was filmed in Nottingham/Grimsby. So my guess is it was set in a fictional town somewhere around there.
brilliant brilliant film.
not as good as dead man's shoes though.
It left me a bit unsatisfied
very well scripted and acted etc but taken overall I thought it was a bit predictable and dare I say it a little trite.
yeh its amazing
saw it on friday night its really violent thow and the director has won 3 awards/5 nominations cant wait for the joe strummer film
I was really dissapointed
by the ending, I think I just wanted a bit more closure with the rest of the characters but I suppose that would have made the film about 4 hours long.
Excellent acting all round though.
