On hearing that 'Portions for Foxes' song i realised that i haven'y liked a pop song as much as this one for ages. Is the rest of the new album in a similar vain? Is it worth getting?

Re: Rilo Kiley

It is worth getting, yes. Other good songs on that album are It's a Hit and A Man/Me/Then Jim. I think the older albums are a bit better mind.

Re: Rilo Kiley

I was slightly dissapointed actually.

Portions for Foxes is perhaps the best track. I really like "Its a Hit", "Does he love you?" and "Love and war" but the rest of the album I can really take of leave... Id download those tracks, and perhaps the song more adventurous" as well and leave it at that.

Re: Rilo Kiley

The first album, 'the execution of all things' is worth getting

Re: Rilo Kiley

That's the second album, but you're right - it's really good - equally as good as the new one, I think. I like the first album, Take Offs and Landings, better than both.

Re: Rilo Kiley

the song more adventurous is worth getting ... skip ' i never' i think it is ... the one that starts "immmm ooonlyyy a woooman"

Re: Rilo Kiley

I only heard "portions for foxes" for the first time last week, and on the strength of it alone i've already ordered "More Adventurous".

*love impulse buys*
