ocean colour scene

i know most of you dont care but the new ocean colour scene single came out today and its awesome.
so why dont you go and buy it.

Didn't know they still going. Last time I saw Craddock gig with Weller he was blinding the front row with stage light deflections from his bonce.

yep they are still going and as strong as ever. ok they have lost there bass player. but they have drafted in two new members and are sounding better than ever.
go get the single.
you wont be dissapointed.

Sorry to be so dismissive, but there's a million other things I could spend that money on. I don't hate Ocean Colour Scene, but let's be honest, they haven't produced anything worth listening to since about 1997.

ive heard the single...... it really is very very bad!! as soon a saw the front cover i thought "have these guys been dropped by their label", and then listening to it..... not good at all..... the b side is reggae and i dont mean reggae influenced i mean FULL ON reggae.... dont even attept buying it.

p.s i will make it clear i was given the cd for free and had no intention of buying it...ahem....

saw em in 2000, they weren't a bad live band but their stuff sounds dated now and what I've heard of the most recent stuff has been shockingly bland. Its proper Radio 2 pipe and slippers stuff.

Bit harsh don't you think? I don't can't afford to buy the new Ocean Colour Scene single (not that I buy singles anyway). Does that make me an idiot? Do you actually know anything about me or my musical knowledge? What is that assesment based on? I don't even dislike Ocean Colour Scene for fuck sake.
