Fantastic band of lovely indie pop goodness, go check out now if you haven't already - http://www.myspace.com/immaculatemachine, featuring the lovely Kathryn Calder who plays keyboards & sings with New Pornographers.

They are, somewhat unsurprisingly, supporting NP at their borderline show and doing some dates of their own:
19th - London, UK - Borderline
21st - London, UK - Hoxton Bar & Grill
23rd - London, UK - Hope and Anchor
24th - London, UK - Brixton Windmill
26th - London, UK - Dublin Castle (Club Fandango)

I shall be at a few of those.

The album is ok...

...but they are excellent live. The drummer in particular is awesome.

hmmm

I saw them a few years back, and to be honest I only went because P:Ano were supporting. P:Ano were beautiful on the night, and Immaculate Machine just seemed to be any old indie band passing through. They looked all happy, and other people left happy - but for myself I thought the support was much much better.
