The first few acts for December's Portishead-helmed Nightmare Before Christmas event, held at Minehead's Butlins, have been confirmed.
Performing at the annual All Tomorrow's Parties event will be Sparklehorse, Oneida (pictured), Aphex Twin, Black Mountain, Seasick Steve and Julian Cope. Also on the bill are Team Brick, Crippled Black Phoenix and Fuzz Against Junk, from Geoff Barrow's own Invada label.
Portishead will play too, obviously.
The Nightmare Before Christmas runs from December 7-9, and tickets are priced between £130 and £150. They are available now. Click to ATPfestival.com for tickets and more information.

Oh fuck yeah!
Copey and the Aphex Twin as the first two names on the bill is almost impossible to top.
As long as they don't make the Twin play on that fucking stupid big stage next to Burger King - imagine how lame that would be..
there has yet to be
any proper burger king fuckery.
like imagine if the Fav had done the pavilion, i bet tim would have led everyone into burger king to dance on the tables or something. we need a burger king riot.
Seasick Steve!!

er.
I don't think I've ever seen him not wear clothes...
He's a peculiar lad, but a really nice guy. He came round my house once and we watched Canadian sketch comedy show Kids in the Hall.
True story.
Confirmed but not announced...
Public Enemy.
Kraftwerk are 'in talks' but I'm not holding up hope.
