The Wombats will join forces with The Holloways to co-headline a UK tour in September.
DiS is struggling to find anything of note to say about the tour, except that The Wombats are currently somewhere in the midst of a 48-date super-tour. M-m-m-mediocratic balance of power. There's another.
Dovetails:

15 Sheffield Leadmill
16 Leeds Metropolitan University
17 Newcastle University
18 Glasgow Garage
19 Nottingham Rock City
20 Cambridge Junction
21 Portsmouth Pyramids

Bah
The Wombats are top pop (except for their current single). Fortunately at Bristol, it's them only.
The Wombats...
... Are crap. The only Holloways song that I've heard is "Generator." I like it - it makes me happy. I'll probably be sick of it in a week or two's time, though.
really....
i got bored of generator the first time it was released... after the opening three seconds
its...
weird to see Oxford Carling Academy instead of zodiac :-(
I Didn't Pay Any Attention...
... The first time it was released. I don't know what's changed. I think it has quite a nice hook, though.
The never-ending tour...
I'm sure The Holloways have been on tour non-stop for about the past year?
sadly
doesn't make them any better than they are.
the wombats
do indeed make decent pop music, and The Holloways album is a fairly good effort, apart from that abysmal opening track. I dont think I would venture to see them though.
The Holloways
at the green room in welwyn was bloody briliant. It was just a little room above a pub and we all stage invaded! get in.
