The band's second LP, Neon Bible is out now. Their UK shows - tickets went on sale last Friday, June 15 - are as follows:

29 Newcastle Metro Arena
30 Cardiff International Arena
31 Nottingham Arena

November

18 London Alexandra Palace *

New show - *

I can walk to Ally Pally from my front door. Yes.

Add dates to your gig calendar here.

I got my tickets before the shows were announced

The new albums a 'grower' in parts, isn't it?

Ally Pally is dreadful

Pretty much ticks all the boxes in the 'what makes a bad show' list.

bad transport links.
poor sightlines throughout the venue.
overpriced tickets
shoddy sound

wow. that'll be fun.

x

Oh, come on

The sound might be dreadful in certain parts of it, but you just need to move forward and to one side to get better sound. I saw Pixies and the White Stripes there in 2005 and we moved forward during the support bands and got much better sound.

As for poor sightlines, I'm a shortarse, so I get poor sightlines wherever I'm stood.

And it's London. Aren't all tickets overpriced?

Bad transport links - how so? Because a tube doesn't go right up to the venue? You get a tube, you get a bus. Somewhere like Hackney is far worse IMHO.

wow!

how the fuck did you manage that?

i've only been there once and that was to see the stone roses years ago, probably before you lot were even born! ;-)

Lucky Mike

You may well be the only person in the country who would think Ally Pally is easy to get to. AF are probably the only band in the world right now I'd even consider going to see there.

Lucky Me

I too can walk to Ally Pally from my house!! Whoop!!! Although I'm not too happy about finding out I live so close to Diver, he just doesn't look normal.

Id like to see them

fill these venues.

cumon

yesyeysyeyeyeys
best band in cardiff for yeeaaarrss
i literally jumped out of my seat with joy upon reading this most momentus news.

isnt

the CIA massive?

last time i saw arcade fire

was in sheffield, leadmill - what - 700 people??
i knew arcade fire were big but arena big, i missed a few shades somewhere!

though i feel i must see them on neon bible so i shall be coersing the kind folk of this world we must visit nottingham.

The CIA...

...fits just under 6000. Quite small for an arena - it's wider than it is long.

The Manchester MEN Arena... that's another story. About three times as many people I think!

No...

not the SECC, it'll ruin yer!
