So who's going? I'm seeing them under London Bridge; my ticket came today. Any fans, bear in mind you'll have to wait fookin ages to see them if you miss this spate of gigs!:~0
They do their live gigs completely improv, no pre-existing loops or sounds (though usually in the style of the contemporary work they're doing on their albums). Quite repetitive but really amazing as it builds up.
(this is from hearing bootlegs, no idea what it's like visually).
I doubt very much if they'll come on wearing seethrough iggy trousers and start playing their laptops with a Townsend windmill action whilst slashing each other with razorblades and rubbing cocaine into the cuts! It's probably just going to be the knob-twiddling.

I thought I'd missed the boat for the London show but I got a ticket quite recently. Definitely worth a try. I mean, it might be unforgiving, 'difficult', cold, impenetrable, merciless and alien, but it's certainly not going to be rubbish!
"I doubt very much if they'll come on wearing seethrough iggy trousers and start playing their laptops with a Townsend windmill action whilst slashing each other with razorblades and rubbing cocaine into the cuts!"
I am going to freeze myself now in some kind of geeky futuristic human freezer thing. Someone wake me up when there is a band that does this.
Does anyone have any details on the Manchester date - I need to find out what time thet're playing.
And can you buy tickets for the european dates? I'm on holiday so can see them in Marseille which right now makes my sad little existence seem worthwhile.

I'd love to see that as a bands advertisment for new members...
