Why do I like this song so much? Its not even really my kind of thing, theres just something intrinsically "good" about it...

Re: Oh Yeah

stop staring at the bassist's tits, mate.

Re: Oh Yeah

Who sings this?

Re: Oh Yeah

Either Ash, or The Subways. I'm guessing the subways, unless Mark Hamilton has had breast implants!

Re: Oh Yeah

I cant get it out my head either.

Re: Oh Yeah

hmm i think it's weak as - it sounds like school band doing a white stripes cover - but, you know, each to their own and all that.

Re: Oh Yeah

I've been in two minds whether or not to buy it, but I've got a nagging suspicion that this is as good as they get. Catchy chorus, but the bloke's voice annoys me majorly.

Re: Oh Yeah

Time for me to drag out the old rant:

The woman up close in the flesh is really not that great, the little geeky singer is welcome to her.
I can't understand why all the NME kids are near wetting their pants in excitement over her.
Oh yeah and they sound like a crap Von Bondies as well.

*relaxes*

Ok, rant over :-)

Re: Oh Yeah

Its not all about the bassist though, I'm looking objectively at the music. Cubs honour.

Re: Oh Yeah

her voice makes me want to van gogh my ears.
and the chorus in that song is crap. the verses are way better.
i've already heard it about 1 times too many now, though. enough is enough.

Re: Oh Yeah

They just sound like yet another indie garage band. Not bad, but not at all special.

Re: Oh Yeah

Yeah it does sound pretty generic to me.

Re: Oh Yeah

something about that bassist really annoys me in a kind of i-wanna-stick-a-lighted-firework-in-her-pie-hole sort of way...

i heard them hailed as 'hertfordshire's finest' somewhere.(?)

considering i go to the university in that shithole, this 'fact' emerges as something that is overwhelmingly depressing.

Re: Oh Yeah

Welwyn Garden City to be precise
