New for 2002, All Tommorows Parties will be held on two consecutive weekends, each with identical billing - allowing an increased capacity without moving the site from at the Camber Sands Holiday Centre. The dates are April 19-21, 2002 (weekend one) and April 26-28 (weekend 2).
Shellac have so far confirmed the following acts for the festival: Breeders, Robbie Fulks, Plush, Low, The Fall, Ex (and Orkest), Dead Moon, Silkworm, Shannon Wright, Nina Nastasia, Blonde Redhead, Oxes, Brick Layer Cake, Lonesome Organist, Rachel's, Mark Robinson, Lonesome Organist, Threnody Ensemble, Shipping News, Dianogah, Neurosis, Flour (Peter Conway), Arcwelder, Danielson Famile, The New Year, Ballydowse, Will Oldham and Shellac themselves.
Promoter of ATP 2002 Barry Hogan: "Shellac played ATP 2000 and were absolutely devastating, without doubt they were one of the best acts of that year. After the festival I had a conversation with Shellac and they asked if they could curate an event. I was more than happy to let them take charge."
"Lots of people ask us why we pick old school bands instead of new kids on the block like The Strokes.." (lots of anti Strokes insults later..) (because) they are still making great music and have been an inspiration to so many."
Tickets are priced £100.00 for a weekend pass to include 3 nights accommodation, entry to all the concerts and facilities on site and will include a free cd to each ticket Holder.
Tickets are available now and can be purchased online

Which meant we had some tit from MM blagging his way into staying with us
Fucking freeloader shites :P
Hmmmmmmmmmmm so Hogan thinks he'll REALLY sell out two weekends with that lineup? Muppet..... Unless there's more bands to come with that yet-again-postponed 'ultra special surprise announcement' [aka "Fugazi aren't playing!"] for monday, which is what I'm presuming........
Should've posted the anti-Strokes diatribe though, something he's got to say that maybe'll be worth reading for once. Because I'm unable to check my email to read the press release meself for the minute.

Fall can't the the extra-special surprise though - and the Breeders won't be the 'reformed' band as they were only dormant these past years and recording their new album already - the world is holding out for Cheap Trick methinks...mmmmmmmm...
Re: Shellac present: All Tommorow's Parties 2002
im going to defend the twattish one. Whats the problem with him making money?????? and more importantly i know that a lot of people wanted to go last year but couldnt cause it sold out, and this is a better option than moving to a bigger site.
they might sell out. as last year sold out so quick and the line up was pretty awful, there are more than 3 bands im want to see this year. wether i make it out the chalet to see any of them though........
