hibernaculum is stunning

in my opinion, the best thing they've ever done. although 'hex' runs it pretty close - i think this new style of country/folk influenced doom they've adopted is far more interesting that the older records, although they are pretty flawless as well ....

but it sounds nothing like Sunn, they lied to you!

Apparently that album (Hex) sounds a lot like the Dead Man soundtrack by Neil Young but I haven't heard so I divvnt know myself.
