being totally oblivious to its imminenet demise i bought the last Ben Kweller album for a £5 in the Byres Road branch. If I had known that it would have been the last time I would ever get to shop in there i would have maxed out all my cards (not that they would have let me pay with a card!).

I only went once.

I got The Besnard Lakes Are The Dark Horse.

the other week i almost bought

White Light/White Heat on vinyl, but realised that that was a silly use of money

the last thing i did buy was, i think, Minor Threats first two ep's on a 12"

again, a silly use of money, but for £5, pretty great

Last thing I SOLD at Fopp

Was the L/E version of The T'wang album.

Great, huh?

The last things I was *going* to buy were True Romance and Dog Day Afternoon on DVD, the Ranulph Fiennes Above The World book, Kraftwerk Trans... and Shitdisco 12"s.

But they're still sat in the staff drawer, where they'll stay forevermore.

Oh, I know actually

Last thing I BOUGHT from Fopp was Velvet Undergound s/t 12". £1.60 on staff discount.

Last thing I "stole"

Changesbowie. It went straight on the iPod.

It had been like two weeks since I had last been in :(

I think I got The Blow - Paper Television.

I thought they would stay open until at least sometime next week, but no such luck :(

About A Boy (book)

Modern Toss book
Animal House on DVD.

It was.........

Sonic Youth - 'Rather Ripped'

C) I didn't

I went in to the big Tottenham Court Road one on Saturday June 9th and they had none of the many gaps in my collection that need filling. Why does NOWHERE stock II by The Meat Puppets? I almost bought the new LCD Soundsystem album, but I didn't.

Kudos to Fopp Brighton for stocking the German compilation of Sebadoh vs. Helmet / Rocking The Forest. Not quite sure why as I'm sure it's not meant to be sold over here, but I got it for £5! Ah the memories. The amount of times I almost bought the best of Faithless for £3...
