Had a complete 'moment' with this song last night, was a beautiful, sweeping, elegant masterpiece. Its completely timeless and I will love it until I die.

How some people still see them as being in the shadow of Oasis is rather misguided

the bit at the end,

i.e the final note by the strings, is one of blurs finest moments

It's brilliant

and I'd totally forgotten about it, because like all normal people, I don't own The Great Escape.

by no means a blur fan

but that song is a classic.Gorgeous.

This song

when coupled with To The End and This Is A Low, is why Blur were fantastic when they headlined Reading the other year, and not, as a lot of peabrained wombles would have you believe, shit.

Emotional times.

Was that when Damon Albarn

starting going on about how his label gave him E to take before they went on Top of the Pops?

I've basically never liked it

Good video, but just too syrupy and it lasts too long or something.

I really don't know why, to be honest, but I just never really liked it.

He Thought of Cars >>>> The Universal but they never released that as a single and so it's buried forever in the album that everyone thinks is shit.

Ho well...

3.59 actually

so easy

this was the first single i ever bought with my own money

it's really really good! but then i really like the rest of the great escape too.
