the kingston date...
also has tubelord and one very special local band playing, who are currently on tour so we can't announce them yet. but they're top. x
and
Briostol has Safetyword
Birmingham has Tired Irie
Leicester has Herra Hidro
Wycombe has A Genuine Freakshow and Pysche Out
x
Bristol*
aaand...
Welwyn Garden City has The Otters and a DJ set by Schrödingers Mouse.
They're rather good.
Good tour, then.
Is what we're saying.
Grand!
the kingston date...
I take it this mean that the scheduled stuff for the cocks has now been absorbed as part of the peel line up?
yeah
i originally booked cats x3/ttng at the cocks then gravity booked the dartz show, so we're now doing everything as a co-promoted show at the peel. kingston rules.
tubelord!
yes! been waiting to see tubelord for quite a while :D
theres one more
date coming for this i think.
I'll go to wycombe!
tubelord are always
playing gigs in kingston, i've put them on at least 3 times myself, not quite sure how you've managed to miss them...
hmm
probably because i don't live in kingston.
and
they're also doing a free gig in Reading
@ the Oakford Social Club on Sun 30th Sept. After the 'offical' tour with A Genuine Freakshow I think in support.
Plus
they're doing a free gig in Reading at the Oakford Social Club on SUN 30th Sept after the 'official' tour.
A Genuine Freakshow I think as support :)
yes!
cats and freakshow! probably the 2 best bands in the world. FOR FREE. does it get any better?!
weeeyyyy
welwyn
Where is
Welwyn? And is the Garden City part really necessary? I've never heard of the place and keep forgetting to ask! It has a nice name anyway
It's
in Hertfordshire, near Stevenage. Not a lot happens here, but there's some nice people. And it is necessary actually, there is a little village next door simply called 'Welwyn'.
Lil' spot of info for you there.
Dartz! = a poor man's Minus The Bear
Don't understand the adoration.
blah...
dartz! = ace!
I am totally at the Kingston Show
Anyone else want to provide me with company?
ill go
but not if waterwings is there with his derogatory dartz comments.
hahaha
kiss ma teeth
...
Ever Since The Lake Caught Fire (myspace.com/lakecaughtfire) are playing on the Newcastle date.
I am so gutted...
...we couldn't play the Newcastle date. Not only because the promoter is lovely, but also because ESTLCF rock my socks.
Alas....too far from Oxford for us to get there in time :-(
oxford
and sadly the oxford date planned for the 21st has fallen through as the wheatsheaf will be closed and seeing as truck is that weekend i can't be arsed to try and find another venue.
and are you really still going ahead with RoTa even though most people likely to attend will be at Truck?
ever the optimist, ady
Yes.
RoTa will still be on.
Not everyone can make Truck, y'know!
yep, i know
it'd be a bit of a bugger if either band were playing truck though, and/or even attending!
that gap in the tour:
September 21st The Queen Charlotte, Norwich
w/This Town Needs Guns, The Siegfried Sassoon
good point
I'd better make sure Jody can come. Could be awkward what with Jonquil's Truck commitments.
haha the green room
i might go to that if i'm not still at bestival.
09th
Cats
Siegfried Sassoon
A Genuine Freakshow
PsycheOutMusiklandBigband
High Wycombe date is the best
RAPTUREFEST
Has been moved to The Face Bar in Reading as the roof caved in at the Star in all the bad weather!
That's bad news
for the Star. Great news for me. Reading's much closer to my house!
yeah, and
good for all the bands playing because the sound at the star is usually shocking.
full kingston lineup is...
Dartz!
Tellison
