Number 8 bus from Victoria

goes quite close I think. Or at least around the Bethnal Green/Bow area.

Piece of pi

ss.

From Victoria you take the Victoria line to Highbury & Islington and then get the 277 bus from St Paul's Rd (across the road from H&I tube) which goes right through the middle of Victoria Park (a big grassy, tree-y thing with, presumably, signs of indie rock on the day in question).

It's a slightly lengthy route, but it is direct, and you will get a nice view of Hackney...

Check out tfl.gov.uk

cheers

good work.

Justice

er,

that's not strictly true.

How have I only just noticed this bit of the Field Day website?!

..

Liars, Battles, Foals, Archie Bronson. Bloody great line up. Just a pity it's the first game of the season. Will be heading down post-irons so should be there about 6. Anyone know times of the bands?

Foals & Battles, obv

Also Laura Marling and Florence and The Machine should be worth a look.

Join us.

^this

yay.

i'll sort it out and do some PMing. thankyou!

What?

There'll be other people there? Goddammit, can't I get any peace and quiet...

what bamos said

it would be stupid to miss out on going for that reason when there will be so many friendly dis people there!

i'd hurry up if i were you!

there are barely any left. good luck

None left.

I've scoured.

Feeling pretty hard done by as waited for Rough Trade East to start selling them in order to support them and they said they had loads to sell.

When I went to go and get them they then said that the Field Day people wouldn't let them sell any.

Had been looking forward to this for ages and now kicking myself for not just booking them over t'internet in the first place and the silly idea of supporting a local retailer...

If anyone knows of anywhere left, even if it's a touting c*nt, be great to hear. Phonica have sold out btw as have stargreen.

i did that as well

fucking irritating
