are worth getting up early on saturday for. Crystal Castles are DEFINITELY worth seeing live in the dance arena.

tokyo polic club are a bit meh

the hairy one is right on everything else though.

Also, you must must must see !!! in the dance tent. They're unbelievably good.

LCD Soundsystem clash with NIN

Probably a bit of the beginning of the Pumpkins' set. That's what's putting me off going - if there were no clashes, there'd be plenty for me to do, but as it is, I'm worried I'd get bored. (Cue someone saying "But it's not about the music...!")

LCD and the Pumpkins is the worst clash in the history of clashes.

keep in mind the pumpkins are the pumpkins.

plus LCD are bigger than the last time the played so they'll be loads of new rave kids probably.

i think when I saw them in brighton

they played every song off that (minus poledo), start choppin, the wagon, freakscene, let it ride, and about three new ones. Best set ever!

the radio 1 tent rig at reading. dinosaur jr are going to sound AMAZING.

and Operator Please. They're teenagers from Australia (I think) and their song 'It's just a song about ping pong' is ace poppy girly punky shoutiness.

I'm sort of turned off of Late of the Pier

because I have a friend that's from where they're from. He says they're jerks. How can I go against a friend like that? Haha.

after the last arcade fire reading performance

its not worth going to see anyone else unless they are really special, as everyone seems pretty average in comparsion. we managed half an hour of the foo fighters before we gave up.
