Music actually is for enjoying

as opposed to taking seriously, isn't it? The amount of people i've heard opine that a certain artist's music has 'changed their lives' and then they go home to a bedsit. F.uck me, just how bad was their life before exactly? Anyway, where were we? Oh yes, Torn on the Platform is rather good to my ears. Not gonna change my life, thank God (I'm happy with my 4 bed semi detached even if it's ownership is currently shared 50-50 with the Co-operatve Bank), thank you very much.

i think they mean

it meant something to them, in that the artist had integrity, rather than some over-privileged twat jumping the latest bandwagon of shit.

Fantastic live! I didn't like him at first, but then I saw him last year at Bestival and thought "Hmm, this is pretty good stuff!"
